I apologize that it has been so many days since my last entry. I went back to work last week and I am trying to find the balance between pregnancy, work, eating, drinking lots of water, and total exhaustion. By the time I get home in the afternoons I have been crashing into bed for a two hour nap before I feel like I am able to function for the evening.
I thought that during the second trimester I would have a lot more energy - and truthfully maybe I do have a lot more energy than my first trimester, but these boys are still making me pretty tired!
I am continuing to do really well though. I am trying to "pork up" as the doctor ordered. I have been eating and drinking as much as humanly possibly in my waking hours...so we'll see what she says about my progress next week!
Thank you for your continued prayers and support. Almost 18 weeks! Hard to believe we are nearly, if not already, half way there!
I will post more pictures soon.

you are keeping this up wonderfully Beth
Just get your rest when you can
we will talk soon
Love you and Chris and of course Doug and JOhn also!!
I can't imagine having your schedule of teaching! I take my hat off to you, and I'm really glad to hear that you're getting naps. Good for you!
I love the new blog background. :)
I'm not sure what grade you teach but I taught first grade and BOY was that tiring. Getting up and down and just keeping up with them took a lot of energy! I think I was a month behind you as well (when school started) so I can imagine you must be REALLY tired. I would come home and sleep for 3 hours as well and then get up, eat, hang out with hubby and then sleep all night!
Great job eating. I had a hard time gaining at first and was worried for the girls but then things started to pack on (I think I gained 43 in total). Its all for them! Keep it up!
Working AT ALL is a tremendous drain when pregnant! I had a pretty sedentary job with my first child, and I remember asking a co-worker to wake me up in the breakroom when my time was up! It was the only time I ever went to bed early (9pm) every night and took breaks just to sleep! I'm prayin' for you girlfriend! Hey, BTW, didja know that Biglots has a baby book set for twin boys??!! I saw it before I knew...wonder if it is still there...saw it here and in Charlottesville.
Beth you are such an awesome mother already. Trying to do all that you do is remarkable...and taking the time to rest is so important. It sounds like you are balancing all that you can now. Hopefully, when the students come back you will find renewed strength in their enthusiasm for your little ones. Please let us know if you need us for anything!!!
Love and blessings to you both and the twins,
Mom and Dad H.
Congratulations! You are doing so well. Keep eating and getting all the good fat that you can! I had trouble gaining weight with our twins(sooooo sick), but when I could eat, it was FAT, FAT, FAT! Take care of yourself and those boys and soon you will be holding them in your arms. God is good!
This is going to be an amazing experience!
Hugs,
Hollie
