7 Months

The boys are interacting SO much now! Last night I laid them down together in the living room. I went in to the kitchen and came back out a minute later to see that Ethan had rolled over right next to Grayson. Grayson was sucking on Ethan's ear and they both thought it was hilarious! I moved Ethan back over again, and within another minute he had scooted himself back to the exact same spot and Grayson continued sucking away. They are a mess!

When they are in their exersaucers together they will just shout back and forth at eachother. The listener becomes very excited and jumps around and giggles. They do it back and forth for a long time. They have also started screaming back and forth. They're not mad - they just seem to be competing for who can scream the loudest. Oh boy....fun game.

They are stinkers. Literally, yes - but also they are starting to show their true "boy." They love to rough house. They love to wrestle and roll around. It's so fun that they are able to understand and know when we are trying to be silly with them. They L.O.V.E. attention. Any kind of attention. Sometimes they will just stare at someone until they finally turn and give them attention. Then they get this huge grin across their face. Success!

They are movers I tell ya. They move across their crib from one end to another, rolling, scooting, pulling...you never know what position you're going to find them in when you go in to the nursery.

Ethan has found the strings on his bumper that attach it to the crib. Yesterday he untied one of the strings and was playing with it. I tied it back up and put him on his tummy away from it. Within seconds he rolled himself over and found it again, untied it, and just grinned at me! I double knotted it after that! Haha.

They're getting better with sitting up. They still tend to fall to one side or another if you leave them for too long, so I still like to be right there next to them before they face plant in to the blankets.

Crawling is also coming. They are starting to get up on their knees and rock a little bit. We have heard it can be any day after that point, so we are getting ready. Oh boy...oh boy....oh boy. That will open up a whole new world of action when they start really moving.

They are great eaters. So far they have eaten rice cereal, avocado, bananas, and sweet potatoes. We also tried peas - but they were not fans. They gagged on them big time. I plan to try them again at some point, but we'll see. Everything else they gobble on down and they smack their lips together when they're finished. I have been making a lot of their food. I really enjoy it now that I'm home and have the time to do it.

Here are some recent pics. The boys turned 7 months old last Wednesday. Oof da ney Jose.
