They love to scream. Just scream. Not cuz they're mad...no....but just because their voices just have to be heard and shared! It seems to be the way that they communicate with each other. Today I had to laugh as Grayson was digging around inside the toybox (a.k.a. laundry basket). He looked over and noticed Ethan. He continued playing with his toys but just yelled out "AHHHHHHHH!!!" Ethan looked back at him, squinted his eyes shut and gave a big "AHHHHH!!!" in response. Then they just went on playing.
In celebration of noise, and the way different dynamic to this used-to-be-really-really-quiet-just-the-two-of-us-and one big mean cat-home, I made the boys some home made noise makers! I just took two empty water bottles, filled them with rice, super glued the lids on, and voila! Shake, rattle, and roll boys! Or just chew on them. Whichever you prefer.

Their communication tactics are very effective for the two of them. They know how to get the other's attention, no doubt about that:) Cute as little bugs and your "shaker" idea was great!!!
