The days seem to fly by quickly. That may be due to the schedule we're on that makes the day just whip on by. You're always thinking ahead to the next meal, the next nap....and all the sudden it's time for baths and pj's!
It is easy to let the days go without documenting - thinking "ah, well...it was just another day." But then all the sudden I look at my boys and am shocked at their size! This happens to me at least once a day. I walk in to their nursery, see them in their cribs, and I am blown away with my almost eight month old boys!
We are having a ball. A BALL! They are at SUCH a great stage right now. They are giggling, giddy, attention loving little men. They love to play, play, play...together, with Mommy or Daddy, and alone.
Ethan loves playing peek-a-boo or any game that startles him a little bit. He'll jump and then start laughing hysterically.
Grayson loves when I do "the claw" and come and get him. One funny story on him: Yesterday he was in his exersaucer while I was pumping. He spit up a huge ole' puddle of right on to the tray in front of him. I saw it happening before I could get to him. He looked at it, and I just knew what he was going to do! He stuck his little hands right in and started playing! I ran over and got it cleaned up, but man how I wish I would have had my camera! Stinker!
They started eating peaches yesterday. They weren't huge fans the first day, but even by today I could see that they had come around a lot and weren't grimacing with every bite. Haha. Their list of foods continues to grow. So far they have had cereal, sweet potatoes, avacado, pears, bananas, squash, and peaches. They are great eaters.
The big news this week is our trip on Saturday to Minnesota. I can't even talk about it without getting myself way too worked up with excitement...but it's all I think about at the moment! I haven't been home in over a year. Ridiculous! I can't wait to show these boys off to so many members of their family that haven't met them before! We'll see how flying with twins goes. Expect some blogging on that!
A couple videos. The first is of play time yesterday. This is a very typical scene in our home. Lots of floor rolling, tickling, kissing family time...and that's just me and Chris! :) ha. The other is showing how the boys have found each other! They poke up on their little arms like turtles and "talk" back and forth to each other through the crib slats when they should be falling asleep! Who cares about sleep though when your brother is right there!
