This past Sunday the boys turned two months old. It is hard to believe how fast time has gone! I have many pictures that I've taken - but I don't have them ready to post yet. They are still on the camera!
The boys are doing so well and we are seeing changes in them every day...however, they seem to be looking more and more alike every day too! Yesterday big boy Ethan weighed in at 10 pounds, 14 1/2 ounces. Grayson was 10 pounds, 10 ounces. I can't believe my babies will be 11 pounds soon!
Ethan is a sweet little boy with a big brother personality. He is often our ring leader and his cries can be heard first before he gets Grayson going right along with him! He hates tummy time after about a minute and seems to get frustrated that he can't start scooting all across the room. He is so alert these days and watches every move we make. His eyes will follow us across the room and his whole body seems to respond when we talk to him. His little feet and arms just kick and kick and his little mouth makes this little cheerio. Precious boy.
Grayson is our grunter! We have never heard a baby grunt as much as little Grayson. It is the most precious noise and seems to be his way of communicating with us! We have referred to him as our little fighting Irishman. When we swaddle him he thrusts his little arms around trying to get loose, but after a few minutes settles down and falls fast asleep. He has been turning up the coos here recently. There is nothing like hearing them coo and sigh.
Both boys love to bury their heads into my neck. It seems that the more they can burrow in, the more content they feel. I LOVE it because I can just sit there and kiss and smell them. If they are ever fussy all it takes is picking them up out of their cribs and putting their face by your neck and they stop immediately (unless they've just had their shots!).
Chris and I are learning something new every day about them, each other, and ourselves. Raising twins is a tough job! Everyone told us it would be before they were born, but until we experienced it for ourselves we never knew just what they meant! It just seems that in those short periods of time when both boys are asleep we are running around trying to get chores done before they need us again. Those evenings of quiet conversation over dinner, watching an episode on t.v., or taking a hot bubble bath are a thing of the past for right now! I am just trying to really soak in every moment of this stage. It is a tough stage, but yet I know it will pass all too quickly.
We can't wait for everyone to finally meet them! Soon!

How beautiful! Thanks for allowing me to peek!
It all sounds so wonderful Beth--just wish we could be there with you to see all their changes.
Looks like we will be the first part of May,, until then tell them not to change to fast!
Oh Beth, like I have said....this is a very tough time. It is only one small piece of the big puzzle though. It will be over before you know it. So sad!
Two months old already? How can it be?
I love these little peeks into your boys' personalities! :)
